In an event held in March 2024, Ultracargo announced the beginning of a partnership with the Department of Mining and Petroleum Engineering at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP) in the development of the Operational Risk Management project, focused on the safety area.

The partnership reaffirms Ultracargo’s commitment to safety, which is a non-negotiable value and a fundamental pillar of its culture. The company’s president, Décio Amaral, alongside important leaders including the Director of People, Communication, and Sustainability, Patricia Gomes, the Director of Operations and Engineering, Leopoldo José Gimenes, the Executive Manager of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ), Adriano Márcio Soares, the HSEQ Manager, Melissa Spencer, and the HSEQ Specialist, Adriano Roberto Andrea, were present to formalize the agreement.

Throughout the project, regular meetings will be held to discuss improvements, training, and actions, aiming to continuously enhance our operation and safety procedures.
