Ultracargo is the newest member of the Instituto Combustível Legal (ICL). This partnership strengthens the commitment to fair competition in the fuel and biofuel sectors, showcasing Ultracargo’s leadership position in the industry.

As a pioneer in its segment to join ICL, Ultracargo is committed to maintaining high standards of governance and to ensuring the quality and origin of the fuels and biofuels it handles. This is achieved through initiatives like reputational analysis of suppliers and clients and quality control measures in its operations. By training and engaging employees and strategic partners in ethical practices, Ultracargo promotes a safer, more transparent, and integral market.

“Joining ICL aligns with our continuous efforts to strengthen our governance and integrity practices and serves as a call for other players in the sector to commit to these standards,” said Décio Amaral, CEO of Ultracargo. For him, this strategic partnership with the Instituto strengthens the logistics chain and supports the country’s development. “We believe that solid and ethical connections are essential to move Brazil towards a fairer and more sustainable future. We ensure the quality and origin of the products we handle while promoting practices that benefit society as a whole.”

To symbolize and celebrate the partnership, a signing ceremony was held on September 18 at the company’s headquarters in São Paulo.
