At its 58th anniversary Ultracargo celebrates the Great Place to Work certification

Ultracargo, a provider of integrated logistics services and largest independent liquid storage company in Brazil is officially a Great Place to Work company (GPTW). The achievement the certification comes at the time of the celebration of 58 years of company activities – a trajectory marked by growth and changes.

With the award of the certificate, the company strengthens its ongoing commitment regarding the promotion of a safe, ethical, respectful, and collaborative work environment. Among the actions that make Ultracargo a good place to work are:

  • Performance evaluation and performance that seeks to recognize talents and identify successors to continue the company’s growth trajectory;

The company began operations in 1966 with imports of chemical products at the port of Santos, later expanding its range of services and geographical reach, and presently offering integrated logistics services at the ports of Santos (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Aratu (BA), Suape (PE), Itaqui (MA) and Vila do Conde (PA) as well as at terminals located in the interior in Paulínia (SP) and Rondonópolis (MT). A future installation is already under construction in Palmeirante (TO).

Ultracargo operates via rail, road, waterways, and pipeline modes, acting as a logistics operator by connecting diverse businesses, delivering solutions that increase the value proposals of its clients, who may reach the products they need through the transport mode they prefer. This wide range of possibilities creates alternatives for new transport modes, improves efficiency and logistics costs, contributing to the evolution of the Brazilian infrastructure.
